Gold leaf is one of the most enduring and eye-catching techniques in traditional sign painting. I use real gold—ranging from 12k to 24k—to create custom gold leaf signs for storefronts, interiors, and glass surfaces across Los Angeles and beyond. There are two styles of gilding I offer: Water Gilding, which results in a brilliant mirror-like (or “burnished”) gold finish; and Surface Gilding, which gives a softer, matte sheen with a classic glow.
